PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE  -----

Welcome to Adena Elementary School PTO Web Page!  We are excited about the school year and we hope to see you at our PTO meetings!  We cover many topics at our meetings.  From school activities to what is going on in the district.  Lot's of information gets passed along at our meetings.  Miss one and you miss a lot!

WE NEED YOUR HELP! 
The PTO does many activities during the school year.  Many of these activities need several volunteers.  WE CAN'T DO IT WITH OUT OUR VOLUNTEERS.   Please help us by volunteering!  Even if it's one hour, it will help tremendously!!!  Listing of different committees are located on the website.  Please take a moment to look it over and feel free to contact the Chairperson if you have questions. They will be happy to answer your questions!

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE FUND RAISING MONEY THAT THE PTO COLLECTS DURING THE YEAR? 
Great question!  All the funds that are collected during the year go right back to our school. 
DID YOU KNOW....Last year we funded the 12 document cameras for our school with our fund raising!  Over $10,000 was given back to our school to purchase these cameras!  GREAT JOB EVERYONE!  We also fund class field trips, In school assemblies, Classroom extras, recess jump ropes and balls for our students to use during that time and many more activities.  Over the last few years, Adena PTO has funded 3M Machines for the classrooms, 3 Laptop computer modules with 16 computers each, playground equipment, landscaping, just to name a few!  WOW!!!

WHAT ARE SOME OF OUR FUND RAISING OPPORTUNITIES?
We have several during the year.
* Fall Fundraiser - Sally Foster - Raised over $10,000
* Box Tops and Campbell Soup Label collection - combined raised over $3000
* Funfest - This is our biggest fund raiser of the year!!!  Raised over $15,000

These are just some of the different ways Adena PTO makes a difference!
