The Lakota Local School District Board of Education today ratified a tentative agreement with the Lakota Education Association that stipulates no increase to teacher base pay for a two year period. The new labor contract, termed "fair and historic," was also approved by the Teachers Association at the initial teacher workday preceding the start of the school year.
